Dove-tailing from the last installation of the 2Rogues Media Group story, we are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Columbus Creative Industry Mixer (CCIM). CCIM declares itself to be Central Ohio’s “largest creative social event”. Artists from all around Ohio State attend CCIM to share and collaborate. The event pulls nearly a thousand creative professionals annually, all of whom strive to be leaders of change in their communities. However, our story does not end with a mere corporatized sponsorship. Though business success rides on professional relationships, there is a danger of allowing such means of networking to become mechanized. Ria Greiff’s mission for 2Rogues is to engage with people and to teach them how to take ownership of their talents in all facets of their lives. Ria’s vision at CCIM was to draw out the individual stories from those participating and to learn about the inspiration behind their creative efforts. She named the daring project: The Compassion Confessionals.

Artists and creatives were personally interviewed at the event by the 2Rogues team for the purpose of understanding the spiritually-human motives underlying their projects. Lauren Ashley paints portraits for people with the desire that they are able to see and appreciate their beauty through her eyes. In her interview, she passionately states, “there is not a single person on this planet that does not deserve a gorgeous portrait of themselves…” detailing how important one’s self-appreciation is to her. This passion for self-image echoes back to our You Inc Live Episode 81: Beauty with spa co-owner Deja Redman. Their shared interest demonstrates how Ria hand-picks topics to discuss, branding toolbox items are a means of inspiration and branding for working artists and creatives across disciplines.

The Compassion Confessionals gave artists a platform to open up and shed their professional shell and describe how their vision organically influences their daily work. These are the instances that 2Rogues seeks to create as a means to increase the emotional and social awareness of people, so that there is a healthy balance between the personal brand and the spirit of the individual. 2Rogue Media Group has seen the sponsorship for CCIM as the bridge to future meaningful and influential collaborations. A key element in branding yourself is building a network of like-minded professionals, artists, and creatives, or otherwise, to support your cause. Stay tuned for more on our personal story— next time we will be looking at our Live Events and what we do and where we go with our show on the Road!
